Congressmen wonder why GPCC President Girishbab Chodankar had to score a self-goal against the party by reportedly proposing a tie-up with the Aam Aadmi Party. With the AAP spurning the alliance offer, Congress workers are trying to figure out what made the GPCC chief to make the offer when it’s an open secret that AAP leadership, both in Delhi and in Goa, are totally opposed to any alliance with the Congress in 2022. Questions are being asked whether Girishbab was not aware about AAP’s stand not to have any truck with the Congress or did he make the offer as part of a game plan.
