Can TMC make its presence felt in the Goa Legislative Assembly even before the Assembly polls could take place in 2022? This question is doing the rounds in Saxtti countryside since reports did the rounds in political circles over the imminent entry of Varca strongman Bab Churchill into the Mamata Didi-led party. Churchillbab is the lone MLA of the NCP and political observers are trying to figure whether there’s any possibility of the Benaulim MLA merging the Legislative wing of the party into the TMC. Wait till Monday as Churchillbab has called for a mega rally at the Benaulim Dando grounds coinciding with Didi’s visit.
Mind games begin ahead of alliance
Days after Congress top leader Rahul Gandhi joined hands with Goa Forward chief Vijaibab Sardesai and others in Delhi, leaders of the two parties seemed back to their mind games ahead of formally stitching an alliance.
