Blame it on the sound system or otherwise, BJP leaders might have been left baffled after spectators at the Nehru stadium began leaving the stands even before Prime Minister Narendrabai Modi could address the inaugural function. One reason could be that the spectators might have been left tired and exhausted after sitting inside the stadium for well over three hours. Making matters worse for the spectators, including the young and old, was the poor sound system. Even an announcement about the entertainment programme’s line up for the evening could not stop people from leaving the stands. Any questions?
