South Goa MP Francisco Sardinha, who had headed to the national capital to attend Parliament session amidst the hectic poll campaign, is back in Goa to drum up support for party candidates. It could not be ascertained whether the party high command has sent Sardinha back to Goa or he has come down on the battlefield of his own volition. The Congress has been facing a dearth of senior minority leaders to canvass for votes around Saxtti countryside during the poll campaign.
