Varca strongman Bab Churchill must have been pleased when leaders of Goencho Ekvott, who are fighting against coal and double-tracking, referred to him as the hero of the Konkani language agitation. Churchillbab was seated in the audience when speakers recalled his role in the Konkani agitation. His joy, however, may be short-lived as speakers later sent him a blunt message that the hero should either be with the Pramod Sawant government or side with the people agitating against double-tracking. Left with no option, Churchill later told the media he would discuss the issue with the CM. Wait and watch.
