It is a sheer coincidence that most of the MLAs have taken over the reins of the Corporations and government bodies around two weeks after their appointment. Political observers are trying to figure out whether there’s something more than meets the eye, or whether the appointees were all waiting for an occasion to start the innings on an auspicious note. Many questions indeed remain unanswered since speculations were doing the rounds that the appointments had come under the scanner of party top leadership.
