Former Minister late Babu Nayak’s son Bhai is angry with Diggu over his statement that politicians raise their heads like mushrooms around election time. An agitated Bhai reminded all and sundry that it was his father late Babu Nayak who had introduced Diggu into politics in the Margao Municipal Council. Diggu has not replied back to Bhai’s claim, but one thing is clear that the battle for Ward No. 22 of Margao Municipal Council appears heading for an interesting finish. The buzz around Aquem is simple “ Can Diggu stop Babu Nayak’s grandson Prabhav from making a political debut in the ensuing polls. Wait and watch.
