Even as Congress ticket aspirants literally keep their fingers crossed over the announcement of tickets, the Savio D’Silva camp burst into joy during the weekend, citing reports emanating from the national capital that his plea for the Velim ticket has found favour with the top leadership. Other ticket aspirants in the race have been trying to find out the authenticity of the reports. For, the Central Election Committee headed by Sonia Gandhi was yet to meet and approve the candidates.
