Will the Congress leadership try another medicine in Cuncolim with the experiment of roping in the father-Son duo of Joaquim and Yuri Alemao having failed to win Guirdolim in the ZP polls. Sources say the Guirdolim defeat may not ring in good news for the Alemaos, more so when they have set their eyes on the Congress ticket. Yuri was quick to claim the BJP has won the seat because of votes from Quepem constituency. Reports, however, say some Congress leaders, opposed to Alemaos, may try and get in leaders into the party ahead of 2022.
