Even as political parties appear to be gearing up for the 2022 electoral battle, nothing has been heard from Saxtti-based political party, the United Goans Democratic Party. Party leaders and co-brothers-in-law, Adv Anacletbab Viegas and Radharaobab Gracias, have been maintaining silence on the very future of the regional outfit. The UGDP party was once a force to reckon with in the 90s and early 2000 before it lost its appeal amongst the electorate with MLAs deserting the regional party election after election. Wait and watch whether the Anacleto-Radharao duo has any plans to revive the party for the 2022 battle.
