Carmona Sports Club and Santa Cruz Society of Poitomaddo Cuncolim were involved in a goalless draw in the Salcete Zone GFA Third Division League, at Carmona Ground on Saturday.
The teams played attacking football but a match-winner eluded them. The second session continued in the same vein but the defenders stood tall in keeping their citadel intact.
Goa University marathon on Dec 18
PANAJI: The Goa University will organise its first Goa University Marathon on December 18. The marathon is exclusively for the students and employees of affiliated colleges and Goa University Schools on Campus. Around 900 participants have registered for the event which will be held in three categories -- 21km, 10km and 5km. The 21km race will be flagged off at 5.30 am, the 10km race will start at 6 am, while the 5 km race will be flagged off at 6.30 am. Participants need to report 30 minutes prior to the flag-off time.
