Curtorim Gymkhana secured a 3-1 victory over Carmona Sports Club at the Rosary Church ground in Navelim, advancing to the quarterfinals of the All Goa United Trophy inter-village football tournament, organized by United Club of Telaulim.
Aliston Fernandes gave Curtorim Gymkhana an early lead, but Edwil Afonso quickly equalized for Carmona SC, resulting in a 1-1 score at halftime.
In the second half, Anslem Fernandes proved decisive, scoring two goals in the 49th and 53rd minutes to seal the victory for Curtorim Gymkhana.
Anslem Fernandes of Curtorim Gymkhana was named Man of the Match, receiving the award from Lucio Gomes.
