Dwarka Cricket Academy, Nashik defeated the MG Warriors, Kuwait by 21 runs to win the 8th All India Bhikoo Pai Angle Memorial U-15 Cricket Tournament, at the Dharbandora Panchayat ground, Dharbandora.
Winning the toss and selecting to bat, Dwarka were all out for 110 in 32.1 overs. Aman Katkade (28), Aryan Barke (15) and Shiv Prasad Somaiya (14) batted well for Dwarka. Murtaza Musaji ( 3-12) was the pick of the bowlers with Elmer Luke Noronha (2-16) supporting well. Yewon Eron and Neev Cherian Dayal took a wicket each.
In reply, the M.G. Warriors were bundled out for 89 runs in 31.1 overs. Vivan Lobo (21) and Murtaza Musaji (20) offered a good resistence but could not take MG for victory. Aman Katkade (3-17), Ayush R. K. (2-13) and Aryan Awachat (2-21) bowled excellently.
Ramakant Gaonkar, Ex-Sarpanch, Kirpal Dhabal Panchayat, was the Chief Guest for the function. The ground staff was profusely thanked by the organizers, Margao Cricket Academy, for their hard work in making the grounds ready in these rainy days. Aman Katkade (Dwarka Cricket Academy, Nashik) was adjudged Man of the match and the Tournament.
