Holy Cross Institute, Cavelossim showcased remarkable talent and determination as they clinched the Runners-Up position in the U-17 Boys category at the prestigious Global Cup Goa 2025 Handball Tournament, held at the Manohar Parrikar Indoor Stadium, Navelim.
Facing tough competition from top schools across Goa, Maharashtra, and Gujarat, the Holy Cross team impressed with their skill, teamwork, and never-say-die spirit throughout the tournament.
The final match was an intense, edge-of-the-seat encounter that drew enthusiastic applause from spectators. Although the team narrowly missed out on the championship title, their spirited performance won them admiration and respect from all quarters.
This achievement stands as a proud moment for the institution and is the result of the players' dedication, the strategic guidance of P.E. teacher Richard Mascarenhas, and the steadfast support of the school’s Headmistress and Manager.
