The first half saw both sides engage in a high-tempo battle, creating several promising chances. Mitra’s backline, led by the ever-reliable Jaffar, held firm under pressure, while midfield duo Trevor and Niclau dictated the pace with composure and energy. Ilhas, on the other hand, looked threatening through the creative sparks of Nevil Araujo and Venencio Gonsalves, but neither side could break the deadlock.

The second half turned into a tactical chess match, with both teams adopting a more cautious approach, wary of conceding late. With no goals at the final whistle, the game headed to a penalty shootout.
