MARGAOA second-half strike by Selton Fernandes enabled Pax of Nagoa Sports Club to overcome Raitura Sports Club 1-0 in the GFA's Third Division League, Salcete Zone encounter at Don Bosco Oratory Ground, Fatorda on Tuesday. In an evenly poised game, both teams played an attacking brand of football, as a result, both teams stood tall in protecting their goal in the first half which ended nil-nil. The second session turned out to be interesting, as both teams launched a barrage of attacks but the goalkeepers were equal to the task of protecting their goal. The all-important goal came in the 74th minute when Selton Fernandes slotted past the rival goalkeeper with a snapshot.
