PANAJI: Guardian Angel High School emerged as the South Goa district champions in the Under-17 Girls Sepaktakraw Championship organized by the Directorate of Sports and Youth Affairs, Panaji.
In a thrilling final, Guardian Angel defeated Surashree Kesarbai Kerkar High School, Ponda, with scores of 15–9 and 15–11. Earlier, in the semifinals, the team registered a strong win over Infant Jesus High School, Cuncolim, with scores of 15–4 and 15–9.
In the Under-17 Boys category, Guardian Angel High School secured the runners-up position at the district-level Sepaktakraw Championship conducted by DSYA, Panaji.
