Tavora reflects on his return with enthusiasm, stating, "I’m really excited to be back after eight years. I joined Hyderabad FC as a young player and have grown a lot since then. Now, I’m coming back to FC Goa with more experience and hope to contribute to building a strong team for this season."

Having won the Indian Super League (ISL) trophy with Hyderabad FC two seasons ago, Tavora is keen to help FC Goa achieve their first league title. "Personally, I’m very motivated to have a great season. I always give my best on and off the pitch, and I hope to feel the joy of lifting the ISL trophy again with FC Goa," he says.

Regarding the competition in his midfield position, Tavora acknowledges the presence of talented players like Carl, Rolin, Ayush, and Borja. He views this competition positively, saying, "Competition keeps me sharp both in games and training. It pushes me to perform my best and learn from other skilled players."

Tavora also speaks about the significance of playing for FC Goa, noting, "Being from Goa, it has always been important for me to play here. I’ve followed the team closely and have fond memories of playing at the Fatorda Stadium. Now, playing there regularly is very special to me."

Looking ahead to the season, Tavora appreciates the support from FC Goa’s fans. He recalls attending matches last season and being impressed by their passion. "The fans are the heartbeat of the team. I saw their dedication up close, and it’s incredible how they travel to support us. We value their support and hope to see them pack the stadium for our games."

As FC Goa prepares for their upcoming matches, including a home game against Jamshedpur and away games in Kolkata, Tavora expresses his gratitude to the fans. "We are excited to play in front of our supporters and appreciate those who travel to support us in other cities. Their enthusiasm means a lot to us, and we look forward to making them proud."
