Quarter-finalists emerge across categories at Bandodkar Panjim Gymkhana Tennis Open

Several players booked their spots in the Semi-finals across junior and masters categories at the ongoing Bandodkar Panjim Gymkhana Tennis Open 2026, with a mix of dominant wins and closely contested matches at the Panjim Gymkhana courts.

In the girls under-12 singles category, Tanisha Kulkarni registered a 6-3 win over Maahi Chodankar, while Urvi Pai Panandiker delivered a commanding 6-0 victory against Samaira Patil. Anindita Sarwate also cruised into the Semi-finals with a 6-0 win over Tisya Neal Gandhi, and Aaliya Metry secured a comfortable 6-1 win against Jiyaana Amit Kotecha.

In the boys under-14 singles category, Shaurya Verlekar edged past Kaivalya Devaraya in a tightly contested match, winning 7-6. Arsh Sardesai progressed to the Semi-finals following his scheduled match against Adianta Devaraya. Ethan Luis De Ataide registered a solid 6-3 win over Ivan Henriques, while Kyan K Mavany defeated Adam Godinho 6-1 to move ahead in the competition.

The boys under-12 singles category also witnessed a series of decisive results. Ethan Luis De Ataide beat Kaivalya Devaraya 6-2, while Ivan Henriques recorded a dominant 6-0 win over Daniel Andre Menezes. Arsh Sardesai continued his strong run with a 6-1 victory against Zarick Luke Faia to advance further.

In the masters 45+ singles category, Dimitry Smirnov secured a 6-2 win over Kalyanaraman B, while Neville Menezes defeated Kishor Metry by the same margin. Anurag Agrawal delivered a clinical 6-0 victory against Sameer Kakodkar, and Noel Noronha got the better of Naveen Daivajna 6-2 to confirm his place in the Semi-finals.
