PANAJI
Aahil Sheikh, a student of People's Higher Secondary School, Panaji, brought laurels to his institution by delivering an outstanding performance at the 37th Goa State Sub-Junior and Junior Aquatic Championship 2026, organised by the Goa Swimming Association, at the Ponda Swimming Pool recently.
Competing in the Boys Group–1A category, Aahil won an impressive three gold medals in the 1500m Freestyle, 800m Freestyle, and 400m Freestyle events. He also secured two silver medals in the 200m Freestyle and 100m Freestyle events.
