Aarna Lotlikar, Tisha Shaikh, Aayushi Amonkar and Sachi Dessai booked their places in the Girls U13 semi-finals on an action-filled day at the Late Manohar Sawkar Goa State Table Tennis championship 2025.
Top seed Aarna displayed superb fighting spirit, edging past seventh seed Kavyaa Khalap 3-2, while third seed Tisha produced a commanding 3-0 win over fourth seed Gianna George. Second seed Aayushi staged a brilliant comeback to defeat Kavya Mahambrey 3-2 in a pulsating contest, and Sachi held her nerve in a tight five-gamer to overcome sixth seed Samaira Verlekar 3-2. The week-long State event has been organised by Goa Table Tennis Association in collaboration with the Sports Authority of Goa.
In the Girls U15 quarterfinals, top seed Ishita Colaso led the charge with a fluent 3-0 win over Anaya Shukla, setting up a high-quality semi-final lineup. Fifth seed Tisha Shaikh continued her impressive run with a strong 3-0 victory against Inara Dsouza, while joint fifth seed, Sachi Dessai, put up a dominant show to beat third seed Gianna George 3-0. Second seed Aarna Lotlikar completed the last-four lineup with a confident 3-0 triumph over sixth seed Samaira Verlekar.
