Amogh Desai will lead the State men’s team for the upcoming Vijay Hazare Trophy One Dayers at Alur and Bengaluru from September 19 to October 8.
The designated captain and senior batsman, Sagun Kamat missed out on selection for the forthcoming season as he is recuperating from a wrist injury sustained during a fitness camp in the last week of July in the State. He is expected to recover within the next 15 days. Batting all-rounder Amit Verma (Karnataka) and fast bowler, Krishna Das (Assam) are the professional players.
