Ashok to lead Goan cricket team for England and France tour

The Goan cricket team led by C Ashok, ex Ranji captain and ex-state coach is all set to tour England and France to play friendly matches from July 14 to 27. Anup Kudchadkar has been named vice-captain

U-17 Subroto: Fr Angel edge RMS 3-2

Fr Agnel Multipurpose Higher Secondary School, Verna came from behind to beat Ramacrisna Madeva Salgaocar Higher Secondary School (RMS) Margao 3-2 in the Salcete Taluka Under 17 Subroto Mukherjee inter-school football tournament organized by Directorate of Sports and Youth Affairs at SAG Artifical Turf Grounds, Fatorda on Thursday.
