MARGAO: Betalbatim Sporting edged hosts Dramapur SC 3-2 to advance to the next round of the 47th St. Joseph Festival Inter-Village Football Tournament 2026 at the Dramapur ground.
Betalbatim made a flying start, with Riyan Azampur opening the scoring in the second minute. Azampur struck again four minutes after the break to complete his brace, before Oliver Dsousa added a third in the 59th minute.
Dramapur mounted a late fightback, with Tristan Lopes and Franky Oliveira finding the net, but Betalbatim held on for a hard-fought victory.
Azampur was named Man of the Match and received the award from Carmo Rodrigues.
