Bhatikar Model HS entered the semi-finals of 19th late Mukund Trikannad memorial all-Goa inter-school cricket tournament organised by Margao Cricket Club. In the match played at Dr Rajendra Prasad stadium-Margao, Bhatikar defeated AIM English HS-Davorlim by 105
runs.
Batting first, Bhatikar amassed a total of 176/2 in 20 overs. Sanath Nevgi (74) and Deep Kasvankar (55 not out) were the chief run-getters while Vishnu Variyar chipped in with 24 runs. For AIM, Abdul Rehman and Ebney Sayyed picked up 1 wicket each.
In reply, AIM were all out for 71 runs in 13 overs. Sahil Narangi (23) and Abdul Rehman (12) made a contribution worth a note as Bhatikar’s Kedar Bhagat (4/17), Deep Kasvankar (2/8) and
Yash Kasvankar (1/9) dominated the bowling
attack.
