Brazilian Boys Duncolim made easy work of Active Youth Soccobhatt 4-2 to enter the semifinals of the inter-ward football league tournament organised by Brazilian Boys Duncolim at Seraulim Church ground.
The highlight of the match was a fine hat-trick by star striker Jess Cardozo. Eagan Vales scored the other goal in the 4-2 scoreline. Tregan and Rehan Kalerikar scored for Active Youth Soccobhatt.
In another match, PerSeraulim Boys got the better of Mix Blood Seraulim 4-1 to also enter the last-four stage. Nayab Khan scored a brace while Dev Caran and Suhail Khan scored a goal each for PerSeraulim Boys. Melroy Pacheco reduced the margin for Mix Blood Seraulim.
Rosary teams advance
Rosary HS Navelim defeated The King’s School of Sao Jose de Areal 2-0 to enter the semifinals of the U-15 Salcete Taluka Inter-school Subroto Mukherjee football tournament played at Dramapur ground on Saturday. Messi Rebello and Rahul Sherpali netted a goal each for Rosary.
Meanwhile, Rosary HSS of Navelim defeated Manovikas HS of Margao by a huge margin of 11-0 to enter the final of the U-17 girls Salcete Taluka Subroto Mukherjee football tournament at Dramapur ground on Saturday. Amanda Dias and Prissy Pereira netted a hat-trick each, while Beleza Faleiro scored a brace and Veverly Melo, Anushka Dharwadkar and Lindsay Rodrigues scored a goal each for Rosary HSS.
