Carmibhatt's Harish had a go at goal but Voilem Bhat goalie Joel did well to hold onto the ball. Voilem Bhat's Sudesh tried a shot from distance after a lovely ball played to him by team-mate Rajesh, but Sudesh only managed a weak shot goalwards which was easily held onto by Carmibhatt goalie
Sadanand.
Carmibhatt had yet another chance to score a goal in the match when Sudeep's freekick rebounded and the shot taken by Tejan missed the rival net by a few inches. At the lemon break, the scoreline read 0-0 as none of the teams managed to break the deadlock.
Post resumption, both the teams looked to find the winner. A pumped up Carmibhatt's Sudeep tried a shot from the centre half but unfortunately his shot hit the goal post and went out of play. Later, Dattaram of Voilem Bhat was booked for a rough tackle on Harish just outside
the D area.
Sudeep took the freekick but it crashed into the rival wall. Tejan, who was prowling, took yet another shot from the rebound but the ball ballooned over. Joel of Voilem Bhatt controlled a ball played to him by Gauresh but the Carmibhatt team made a stunning save to shut the ball out.
Carmibhatt's Sahil finally broke the deadlock after he found a gap and slotted home the winner.
