Chandor Club were off to a flying start and in the 20th minute, Moses D'Sa -- who was in the thick of action -- broke the deadlock with a stiff shot, giving no chance to the rival goalkeeper. The early goal helped Chandor Club players mount tremendous pressure on the rival citadel and in the 23rd minute, Louie Noronha beat the rival goalkeeper with s neat finish. A lot was expected from St Sebastian Union Club after conceding the two goals but on Thursday they looked jaded and hardly made inroads into the rival territory. Post resumption, Moses Dsa and Louie Noronha combination fetched Chandor Club's third goal in the 27th minute as the latter registered his brace. Down by 0-3, St Sebastian Union intensified their attacks and managed to score the consolation goal through the boots of Nicholas Rodrigues late in the second half.
