United Club of Utorda beat Rising Star Uguem 1-0 to move into the quarter-finals of all Goa 23rd inter village Lourdes Festival soccer organized by United Club of Utorda in association with Our Lady of Lourdes-Utordekars in UAE at Utorda grounds on Tuesday.
UC Utorda dominated the first half with their forwards Alister and Remedious Monterio making several attempts without any results.The score at lemon time time was 0-0. After changing over, rising stars Uguem improved their skills as their striker Elton Pereira missed a scoring chance in the 43rd minute which the Utorda goalkeeper Sico Cota saved. In the 50th minute, Alister made a smart move after skillfully dodging past a defender but missed the target narrowly.
In the 55th minute, Agnelo Gab of Uguem shot just above the crossbar. Finally, in the 59th minute, Clinton gave Utorda the match-winner.
