Costa Rica lost 1-2 to Germany and coach Breanse Camacho Viquez believes that they are ready and will be eager to put it across Guniea. "It will be a do or die battle as the teams look to keep their chances alive of making it to the round of 16," he said.
Guniea coach Souleymane Camara attributed the loss against Iran in the previous match to humidity, saying, "Players got tired in the second half and as a result we couldn't control the ball as we did in the first half. Players were overenthusiastic to finish off the game as early as possible. We made some errors, we don't have to repeat them," the Guiea coach said.
With both the teams looking dangerous going forward, both Camara and Breansee are working overtime to plug the flaws in their defence, which resulted in their defeats in the previous match. Both teams have some talented players in their ranks. Costa Rica heavily rely on skipper Jose Alfaro, Andres Gomez -- he scored their only goal against Germany -- and goalkeeper Ricardo Montenegro, who made a series of brilliant saves against Germany.
Guinea will bank on the physical presence of forwards Fandje Toure and Naby Bangoura to unlock the Costa Rica defence which at times struggled against the physical prowess of German forward Jann-Fiete Arp. "These are just young guys. Still developing their game so they are bound to commit mistakes," said Costa Rica coach Breansse Camacho said.
