Cuncolim Union booked their place in the final of the Rising Cup 2026 with a convincing 2-0 victory over Uguem Sports Club in the first semifinal at Government School Ground, Cuncolim.
The tournament is organised by Rising Club of Sanvorcotto, Cuncolim, in association with Dando Boys, Colva.
Daulat put Cuncolim Union ahead in the 10th minute of the second half, giving his side the breakthrough after a competitive contest.
Cuncolim continued to push for another goal, with Daulat coming close to doubling the lead after beating the rival goalkeeper, but his attempted back-heel failed to connect.
Uguem tried to stage a comeback, but the Cuncolim Union goalkeeper produced an impressive display, making crucial saves to preserve his side's clean sheet. His performance earned him the Man of the Match award.
Cuncolim Union will now await the winners of the second semifinal between Fr Agnelo SC Paroda and Shiroda Youth Club in the final.
