Damodar Higher Secondary School, Gudi-Paroda defeated SS Angle Higher Secondary School, Mashem by 10-5 homes to emerge champions of the Zone IV U-19 inter HSS girls softball tournament organised by Directorate of Sports And Youth Affairs at Curchorem Sports Complex, Curchorem. Damodar HSS were directly seeded in finals while SS Angle HSS defeated Shiroda HSS by
20-0 homes.
Cliffa Fernandes, Babhita Nistani, Pooja Yalwar, Nazmeen Banu, Rutuja Mainkar, Nikita Patil, Larisa Oliveira were the run scorers for Damodar HSS. The winners were coached by Physical Education teachers, Jaikrishna RN Desai and Laxman
Prabhudesai.
