The second edition of the Sonics All Goa Under 17 Basketball League 2024 culminated recently showcasing high energy and exceptional talent in both the boys' and girls' categories.
In an intense and closely fought contest in the girls' finals, DBO Fatorda emerged victorious over Sonics with a final score of 19-11. Both teams displayed strong defensive strategies, but DBO Fatorda managed to edge out with consistent scoring across all quarters.
The boys' finals witnessed Don Bosco HS clinch the title against Kamikaze Lourdes. Don Bosco HS dominated the game, securing a 25-13 win with impressive offensive plays and teamwork, particularly during the second and third quarters.
In the third-place decider, Navy Children School defeated Sonics with a commanding score of 60-5. NCS's players showcased extraordinary skill and coordination, leaving little room for their opponents to catch up.
The tournament, organised under the auspices of the Goa Basketball Association, brought together young basketball enthusiasts from across the state, providing a platform to display their skills and passion for the sport.
