Dempo Cricket Club will clash with Geno Cricket Club in the finals of GCA Premier Division Cricket League, starting on April 13 at Porvorim Cricket Academy ground.
At Rajendra Prasad Stadium on Sunday, Dempo CC reached the final by virtue of a first innings lead of 164 runs over Seiko CC. Seiko CC innings folded for 210 in reply to Dempo’s total of 374. Vedant Naik top-scored with an unbeaten 57. Samad Fallah was the most successful bowler, taking four wickets while Jalaj Saxena took three wickets.
Dempo CC scored 222 for 4 in the second innings with Anup Vernekar and Hanuman Vihari scoring an unbeaten 65 each. For Seiko CC, Siddhesh Ramani took three wickets.
