PANAJI: V Dempo Higher Secondary School of Arts, Science and Commerce, Cujira, will represent Goa at the International Subroto Cup Football Tournament in Delhi after being crowned state U-17 champions.
The team will leave for Delhi on September 13 to participate in the prestigious tournament, scheduled from September 15 to 25. This will be the third time V Dempo HSS has qualified for the international competition.
The squad comprises Musab Shaikh, Pritam Kumar, Vedansh Upadhaya, Atharva Rane, Ashish Kunkolkar, Rachit Narvekar, Bhavesh Shirodkar, Navadeepa P.S., Mitran Chari, Kanish Shirodkar, Karthik Kuttikar, Shivam Naik, Dhavan Volvoikar, Gopinath Vaigankar, Crizman Correia and Shahil Shaikh.
PE teachers Chetan Kavlekar and Vishal Bhandari will accompany the team.
