MARGAO: Dunes Sports Club Mandrem secured a thrilling 3-2 victory against Chandor Club to advance to the semifinals of the Mark Mascarenhas inter-village football tournament, organized by Sarzora SC at the church ground in Chinchinim on Friday.
Sectus Britto shone for Dunes SC, scoring a brace, while Vivek Naik added another goal to seal the win. For Chandor Club, Sheldon Peixote and Mark Fernandes each found the net, but it wasn’t enough to overcome Dunes' lead. Sectus Britto was named Man of the Match for his standout performance.
