MARGAO: Kavin Furtado netted a hat-trick as Dicarpale Sports Club thrashed Sporting Club of Davorlim 6-1 in the Salcete Zone of the GFA's Third Division league at Rosary Ground, Navelim, on Friday.
The match started with Sporting Club of Davorlim taking the lead in the 13th minute through Paxton Gomes. However, Dicarpale quickly regrouped, with Furtado leveling the score just two minutes later with a well-placed shot.
The floodgates opened in the 33rd minute when Somia Noronha scored, followed by Dallon Niasoo adding to the tally. Just minutes later, Francisco Fernandes flicked the ball into the net, extending Dicarpale's lead.
The second half saw Dicarpale continue their relentless attack. Furtado scored his second goal in the 81st minute, and in injury time, he completed his hat trick, bringing the final score to 6-1.
