Fatorda Fires overcame the challenge of Vasco Cagers in the finals. Daley Fernandes and Sheilton Messais combined well with their experienced point-guard Bosco Furtardo, to help Fatorda win the encounter 40-32. Daley top-scored with 20 points. Vasco Cagers exhibited some moments with Calwin Braganza and Patrick Agustine playing well.
Earlier in the semi-finals, Fatorda Fires beat Don Bosco Oratory-Fatorda 55-25 with Daley and Bosco exhibiting both skill and experience, to outplay their rivals DBO. The second semi-finals was a thrilling affair for the large gathering of spectators, with fluctuating fortunes throughout
the game.
The Vasco Cagers won against the hosts AASA. Shish Chandra fought hard for AASA while Jaison D'Costa contributed the bulk of the scoring for the Cagers.
