A blistering unbeaten half century by Felix Dias helped Nayal,Borim outplay Bannerman by seven wickets to enter the semi-finals of 34th Nanda J Loylekar Cricket tournament organized by Mashem Cricket Club at Nirakar Maidan Depot, Mashem.

Batting first, Bannerman scored 240 for 9 in 35overs.Shaheen Surlakar top scored with 80 runs.Govind Prasad chipped in a useful 63 runs. For Nayal, Stanley Rodrigues was the wrecker in chief scalping 6 for 29. In reply, Nayal Borim achieved the target, scoring 243 for 3 in 34.1 overs. Nayal rode on Felix Dias's unbeaten 75 while Mrutyamvar Manjid scored 68 and Jagu Patil stroked 54 to race to the target. For Bannerman, Sudhir Joshi, Harshad Bandodkar and Nehal Surlakar shared 1 wicket each.
