Jersey distribution function held at the Fatorda Centre of Goa Football Development Council (GFDC) in the presence Deputy Chief Minister Francis D'Souza and of former Fatorda MLA Damu Naik, who celebrated his birthday on Saturday.

Deputy Chief Minister Francis D'Souza had a word of encouragement for the budding footballers and urged the children to work hard and give it their best in whatever they did, be it in school or on the football pitch.
The Dy CM was speaking at the jersey distribution function held at the Fatorda Centre of Goa Football Development Council (GFDC) in the presence of former Fatorda MLA Damu Naik, who celebrated his birthday on Saturday.
"The kids are trained by GFDC's qualified and experienced coaches.Sports unites all religions and government encourages sports, specially football,” remarked Damu appealing the youngsters to make maximum use of the football camp and the facilities available to them. He called upon the youngsters to aim high and work hard. He said Fatorda has produced good footballers in the past too, adding football has a good career and called on the parents to support their children.
