Arjun Rane, Yajat Keny, Ashank Dalvi and Aarish Shaikh entered the finals of the boys’ U9 and U11 categories respectively at the Priority Gaspar Dias Open All Goa Major Ranking Table Tennis Tournament at Clube Tennis de Gaspar Dias, Miramar.
In the boys’ U9 semifinals, top seed Arjun Rane edged Ronan Menezes Gama 3-2, while second seed Yajat Keny defeated Vivaan Rane 3-0 to set up the final.
Arjun had earlier defeated Anshuman Lokapure 3-0 in the quarterfinals, while Ronan beat Jagrav Sinha 3-0. Vivaan overcame Kavish Singh 3-1 and Yajat defeated Urvansh Pathak 3-1.
In the boys’ U11 semifinals, top seed Ashank Dalvi defeated Kedar Nair 3-0, while second seed Aarish Shaikh beat Vardhan Verlekar by the same margin.
Ashank had earlier defeated Ronan Menezes Gama 3-0, while Kedar beat Ved Sanvordekar 3-0. Vardhan overcame Arjun Rane 3-1 and Aarish defeated Urvansh Pathak 3-0 in the quarterfinals.
