Punjab Senior Women edged past Goa Women by one wicket in the seventh Rama Atray Women's T20 Cricket Tournament at Sector 16 Cricket Stadium in Chandigarh.
Batting first, Goa posted 111 for 7 in 20 overs. Vinavi Gurav top-scored with an unbeaten 23, while Diksha Amonkar and Shikha Pandey contributed 19 runs each. Poorva Bhaidkar scored 14, and Sunanda Yetrekar added 11. Punjab's Mannat Kashyap led the bowling attack with figures of 2 for 17.
In reply, Punjab reached 113 for 9 in 19.2 overs to clinch a thrilling victory. Prashanti Sharma scored 40, while Pragati Singh contributed 31 and Neetu Singh added 17. Annu Malhan remained unbeaten on 10.
Goa fought hard through Shreya Parab, who claimed three wickets for 19 runs, while Shikha Pandey (2/18) and Purva Bhaidekar (1/20) also contributed with the ball. Despite the spirited bowling effort, Goa could not prevent Punjab from securing victory. Shikha Pandey was named Player of the Match for her all-round performance.
