Panaji: Sports Minister Govind Gaude announced that the Goa government will support any athlete from the state selected for the 2024 Paralympics. This support will be provided regardless of whether the athlete's association is registered with the department.
The issue was raised in the legislative assembly by Mandrem MLA Jit Arolkar. In response, Gaude assured that Goa has the necessary facilities for Paralympic training, which were developed during the Purple Fest. He emphasized that the government is ready to offer full support to the Paralympic Association if approached.
