Snehal Kauthankar took home a bagful of runs, scoring a fine hundred (101) in the second innings followed by his 74 in the first knock, as Goa walked away with 1 point following their drawn encounter against Himachal Pradesh in a Group C Ranji trophy match in Dharamsala on Sunday. First innings centurion and Goa's stronghold Sagun Kamat took away the man-of-the-match award for his fighting 164.
On the final day, Goa resumed on their overnight score of 182 for 3 after hosts Himachal Pradesh had overhauled the visitors total of 324 to reach 376 and take a 52-run lead. Goa however managed to score 367 for 6 declared, leaving HP with a target of 316 to achieve in around just over a session's play left to be played on the final day.

Skipper Dheeraj Jadhav remained unbeaten on 50 as Goa's innings was built on a solid opening stand of 131 between Amogh Dessai and Swapnil Asnodkar, who made up for first innings failure to score 63 and 72 respectively. Darshan Misal managed to score 44 while Sagun who produced a big score in the first innings fell for just 9 runs. However, it was Snehal who made the most of the outing in Dharamsala scoring a fifty and a hundred, amassing 175 runs in two outings at the crease. Prasanth Parmeshwaram with 5 for 86 was the star performer for Goa with the ball in the first innings when HP reached 376.
