Vaibhav Raikar is the only Goan to participate in the finals of Toyota Ethios Motor racing series

Goa’s Vibhav Parker will get a rare opportunity to race at the Ethios Motor racing series on September 26 at the Buddh International circuit, Noida. Toyota Ethios Motor racing series has shortlisted young aspiring drivers from across India to take part at the finals of the series.
Commenting on being selected as the only Goan to participate in the finals,Vibhav Parker stated that “Toyota has a long history of motorsports internationally and I am very happy to be associated with a brand like Toyota and especially Ethios Motor racing which is a very good platform for young racing drivers in India.
Ethios Motor racing is different from other racing events as it gives you an opportunity to be associated with one of the leading motor sporting legends in the world-Toyota,it promotes motor racing at a grass root level which encourages young and budding racers to be a part of this sport. One-make racing series is one
where all competitors race in identical vehicles from the same manufacturer, using
the same model. Typically, this means the same chassis, tyres and engine are used by all drivers.
The idea behind a one-make racing series is that success will be based more on driver skill and handling of the car instead of engineering skill and budget.
After completing his BE in Civil Engineering he is now the director of his real estate firm Vibhav Real estate’s builders and land developers. Vibhav also pursued his love for cars and racing by participating in various go-karting events as part of his preparation to the motor racing series.
The Toyota Etios Motor Racing Series was introduced in India in 2012 and has given
us opportunities in the field of racing both in India and overseas. Drivers are put
through rigorous training processes to meet both national and international standards of racing. Also, winners of the EMR trophy have been exposed to numerous Toyota racing events overseas.
