Former Goa Ranji cricketer Vivek Kolambkar will be inducted into the BCCI panel of Match Referees after he passed successfully the examination conducted during the Match Referee Workshop cum Assessment programme held recently.

PANAJI: An induction programme will be conducted on September 18 & 19, 2017 at NCA, Bangalore. The Margao-born left-handed batsman, who also bowled leg-breaks during his playing days has played 40 First Class matches having accumulated 1608 runs to his credit with a highest score of 120. He has two first class hundreds against his name besides six fifties.

In the finals, they defeated St Joseph’s High School, Calangute 3-2 via shootout after being tied 1-1 after regular time.
