CLUB HISTORY
The club was established in 1978, funded by football enthusiasts, late Elvino Lawrence (former team manager of Salcete Club) and Herdiano Lawrence with an aim of promoting the game in the State. Many of the players from the club have gone on to play for the country. The club also runs an academy to spot and groom footballers between the ages of 6 and 12 years, according to Covan Lawrence, the trainer at Sirvodem Sports Club Academy.
TROPHIES WON
Sirvodem Sports Club twice won the GFA under-19 football championship and have performed well in GFA Under-16 tournament. The club have been competing in the GFA Third Division league. Osvaldo D'Costa, former state goalkeeper, and Franky Fernandes, a coaching licence holder, are the club coaches.
TOP PERFORMERS
Former India midfielder Climax Lawrence and former India goalkeeper Chandrakant Naik started their career with Sirvodem Sports Club. Some of the other notable players who donned the club colours are Covan Lawrence (played for Salgaocar FC, East Bengal, Mahindra United, Dempo, Air India and Vasco Sports Club), Aldrin Lobo (Dena Bank, Mumbai), Alvito D'Cunha (former India attacking midfielder; played for Sesa Goa, Salgaocar and East Bengal), Selwyn Fernandes (Signals), Bosco Fernandes (Sporting Clube de Goa U-19s), Costancio Paul Rodrigues (President of Goa Referees Association).

CLUB GOALS
The club conducts summer coaching camps and organises inter-village football tournaments. Its twin goal is to promote football to higher level and help groom future players through its academy.
