Holy Family Veterans won the 1st inter-ward volleyball tournament, defeating Diocesan Priests 3-1 in the finals played at Colleandongor Chapel grounds.
Holy family Veterans won 25-18, 25-14, 20-25, 25-22 in a well-contested final, organised by the Boys of Colleandongor. Domnic and Stanley excelled for Holy Family with powerful smashes, whereas Fr Dyrel, Fr Elvis and Fr Agnel impressed for the Diocesan Priests. Fr Dyrel was adjudged as the best smasher, while Franky D’Silva was awarded as the best lifter.
In a women’s exhibition match, Blue Arrows Curtorim defeated Vailankanni Girls Navelim 25-23, 24-26, 15-13.
