MARGAO: Immaculate Conception High School, Avedem-Paroda, defeated Pope John XXIII High School, Quepem, 3-2 in a penalty shootout to emerge winners of the DSYA Cluster 8 Quepem-Sanguem Taluka Under-17 Girls Football Tournament 2026-27 at the Borimol Sports Complex.
The teams were locked 1-1 at the end of regulation time before Avedem-Paroda held their nerve in the tie-breaker to seal the title.
The winning team was felicitated in the presence of TSO Satish Varak, APEO Purso Gaonkar, PE teacher Henry Rocha and officials.
