MARGAO: Snow's Football Academy,Raia blanked Wilred Leisure Sports Club 2-0 in the GFA Under 16 league at Panchayat grounds, Raia on Saturday. Snow's Football Academy led 1-0 at half time. Snow's dominated the game right from the start and never allowed their opponent to strike rhythm as they called the shots against the rival citadel. Moses Fernandes slotted past the rival goal with a snap shot. Crossing over, Snow's enjoyed the lion's share of exchanges and Max Colaco scored the insurance goal in the 65th minute to troop out worthy winners.

Bicholim by 5 wickets to emerge champs in the U-14 (Sanquelim-Bicholim-Valpoi) inter-school President Cup cricket tournament organised by Goa Cricket Association at Navelim-Sanquelim grounds on Saturday. Bating first, St John Cross HS bowlers dismissed OL of Grace HS in just 60 runs. Later they achieved the winning target in 15.2 overs with 5 wickets in hand. Brief scores: OL of Grace School, 60 all out in 25.2 overs (Bhupesh Tirodkar 26 runs. Om Desai 3-14, Chirag Ekavde 2-16) lost to St John Cross HS, 61 for 5 in 15.2 overs (Sumukh Pinge 15 not out, Aman Gauns 12 runs. Shubham Gauns 3-15, Mohammad Shahim 2-25).
